When it comes to major building work in the home (of the jobs we undertake, this includes loft conversions and extensions, timber frame or otherwise), there are certain building regulations to conform to. As the work progresses, it must be council-inspected at each stage, and once completed is subject to a final inspection at which, if satisfactory, a "pass" certificate will be issued to confirm that the work has been carried out properly.

SFB will always work in accordance with the relevant building regulations. We can advise you on this and organise everything for you, from the planning stage right through to the concluding inspection. The reason for issuing you with a certificate at the end of major building work is that if at some point you wish to sell the house on, potential buyers can rest assured that the work meets certain safety and quality standards.
